AMP TOUR invaded Lake Charles Civic Center in Lake Charles, Louisiana for two nights of monster truck action. The near sold out crowds welcomed AMP TOUR's best for another year of car shredding mayhem.

Truck lineup included Bennett Clark in Outlaw Clydesdale, Kelly Carrington in Dragon Fly, Rob French in Twisted Dragon, Rodney Tweedy in the legendary Bigfoot.

Wheelie competition went down each night, with Bennett Clark (Clydesdale) besting Kelly Carrington (Dragon Fly) in a crowd cheer off. On Saturday night Bennett scored the wheelie win again after a massive wheelstand causing the blower belt to break. Bennett signed and gave the blower belt to AMP TOUR fan Matt Ison.

Friday night racing was quick and fast with Dragon Fly and Clydesdale being knocked out. Bigfoot and Twisted Dragon would end up in the finals, leaving Bigfoot victorious.

All trucks were repaired and returned to action for Friday night freestyle. A broken blower belt wouldn't keep Clydesdale from rocking the house along with the other trucks. It ended up being a French freestyle win as Twisted Dragon rolled away with a well deserved freestyle win against runner up Bigfoot, Clydesdale, Dragon Fly, and Reptoid respectfully.

Saturday night action heated up, racing went fast and it was Hot Rod Tweedy and Jim Jack in the finals. Reptoid was no match for Bigfoot, giving Rodney Tweedy a larger lead in points with 9 out of 9 racing wins this season on the AMP TOUR.

Saturday night freestyle included Rob French in Twisted Dragon doing what he does best - going nuts. Crossthreading, sky wheelies, donuts, and lots of non-stop action earned him not first, but second place. A broken rear four-link bar would put an end to his run but not after thousands of cheering fans were left on their feet waiting for the final truck - Bigfoot. Bigfoot dominated what Twisted Dragon didn't finish, with a near rollover, huge air, and a fast paced non-stop performance, Bigfoot rolled out of Lake Charles with a freestyle win on top of his other wins.

"It was a heck of a weekend, it was one of the best shows we've had in Lake Charles. Rob French is one crazy guy!" stated a AMP TOUR spectacator following the weekends event.
