Nashville, TN. (February 24th, 2009) - The 2009 AMP TOUR Series invaded Nashville, TN. this past weekend for a night of carnage and mayhem in the sold-out Nashville Municipal Auditorium.

Bigfoot, The General, Twisted Dragon, Dragon Fly, Torqzilla, and Bearfoot battled it out in side-by-side drag racing, wheelie competition, and insane freestyle action.

Kelly Carrington would walk away as the wheelie contest winner behind the wheel of Dragon Fly, team truck to Rob French's Corvette bodied Twisted Dragon.

Racing came down to Rob French (Twisted Dragon) and Rodney Tweedy (Bigfoot) going head-to-head in the racing finals. Bigfoot would clinch the win, and adding more points to his number 1 points lead.

Freestyle was rocking as all trucks completed in 90 second freestyle. Several insane donuts, sky-wheelies, and cross threading maneuvers granted Rob French and Twisted Dragon the #1 leader at the end of the night for freestyle.

I attended the Nashville show on February 21st with my 5 year old son and wife. Too often people do not take the time to provide feedback on their experiences pertaining to the show. This was an incredibly delightful experience. The production was top notch and the talent was second to none. My wife tried every possible excuse so that she would not have to attend. I basically made her go to the show. She was blown away with excitement during and after the show. I will guarantee she will be attending future events without hesitation. I appreciate the fact that AMP allows cameras at their venues. My 5 year old will not stay away from the computer due to viewing, over and over again, the pictures from the event.
