Scottsdale, AZ. (July 21st, 2007) – AMP Live Events is proud to announce a monster truck appearance of mass destruction as Bigfoot, the legendary monster truck that started it all, joins forces to compete on a 20 event tour at AMP TOUR sanctioned events series dubbed the Monster Truck Thunder Slam.

Bigfoot 4x4, Inc., headquartered out of St. Louis, MO., competed at a number of AMP TOUR winter events earlier this year. The teams continued enthusiasm with the AMP TOUR has given way to allow for more action featuring the Ford and Firestone sponsored Bigfoot monster trucks across the United States at AMP TOUR Monster Truck Thunder Slam sanctioned events.

“We are pleased to have the fleet of Bigfoot monster trucks compete at our events. They [Bigfoot Racing] recently won their 20th world championship, and AMP Live Events wants Bigfoot Racing to add on to their list of championships with an AMP TOUR Monster Truck Thunder Slam title under the teams’ belt,” said Scott Hart, President and CEO of AMP Live Events.

With Bigfoot at our events we are excited to have Bigfoot’s fan following come to an AMP TOUR event and witness the action-packed entertainment our monster truck shows provide fans across the country. The 2007 Summer AMP TOUR Monster Truck Thunder Slam series has already finished up stops in Lakeport, CA., Lubbock, TX., and Terre Haute, IN. The series will continue pounding its name into the dirt as the AMP TOUR heads to Twin Falls, IA., Tomah, IA., Denver, CO., Jacksonville, FL., and Fayetteville, NC., throughout the rest of July and into September. Bigfoot will be competing at a majority of our upcoming events, and will be at a majority of our events in 2008.
