Scottsdale, AZ. (July 20th, 2007) – For the first time ever, Colorado National Speedway will have the ground rocking and rattling with the AMP TOUR Monster Truck Thunder Slam series, as monster trucks invade Denver, Colorado, this July 27th and 29th at 8:00 PM each night.

Dubbed as the AMP TOUR “Thunder Slam” Monster Truck Night of Thrills, AMP Live Events will be heading to Colorado National Speedway for two nights of action-packed madness featuring a World Championship Monster Trucks - Just who you ask? You'll just have to come and find out! Other Monster Trucks competing are Natural High, Unnamed & Untamed, and Nasty Boy!

These big blown bad boy monster trucks are the exact same ones you see on television, as they perform insane giant power wheelies, combined with earth shattering car crushing, including vans, cars, busses, and more. Parts will be flying in the air, guaranteed! You think that isn’t enough? Have you ever witnessed 1,800 horsepower, 10,000 pounds of machine, and more action in 2 hours then you’ve experienced in your life? Yea, we know you haven’t. It’s time to AMP IT UP, with the 2007 AMP TOUR Thunder Slam Series.

Think we are only bringing monster trucks to Denver? Think again. “Fire Storm,” the world’s only jet powered fire truck will be performing both nights in a spectacular jet fire car meltdown performance, with over 6,000 pounds of thrust as the burner pops, and 50 feet of flames that’ll blow you away! Ear plugs are encouraged.

Oh, and for the locals, if monster trucks, and the Fire Storm jet car meltdown isn’t enough, we’ll be AMP’ing it up with earth shaking stock car “Metal Warriors” in wheel-to-wheel combat. You’ll be paying for the whole seat, but you’ll only need the edge!

Hey parents, bring the kids early and ride in a “Fire Storm” monster ride truck. Plus, the 1st 500 kids get a FREE toy monster truck.

All fans who purchase Advance Tickets will receive a FREE Pit Party Pass to meet the drivers (your ticket IS your pit party pass! No need to hunt down pit passes like those other guys make you do), get autographs, and see monster trucks within inches of your eyes.
