Scottsdale, AZ. (October 24, 2007) – Yuma County Fairgrounds was the place to be in Arizona this past weekend, and if you weren’t there, you missed out on the latest craze to hit the AMP TOUR Monster Truck Thunder Slam series!

The 1st inaugural Rhino Race for the Rhino Arena Course Racing Series (RACRS), rocked out in AMP TOUR style with insane Rhino Racing and intense carnage, leaving one Rhino Racer doing the nights first front flip roll over, standing the Rhino on one end, then falling back down on all fours. Oh, did we mention the Rhino Racer was fired right back up to finish the racing heat?

The Figure-8 racing course proved challenging as the final race of the night had four Rhinos going at it head-to-head. Rounding the 3rd lap, two of the Rhinos locked horns and spun one another around twice and then slingshot the rear rhino around one final time before being shoved off of the track, both Rhino Racers would battle it out, get back on the track, and finish in 3rd and 4th place.

Jan Pora, a resident of Phoenix, Arizona, travelled down to the Yuma County Fairgrounds to compete alongside other Rhino Racer drivers, he ended up beating everyone else and taking home the RACRS racing win, along with a sweet trophy he’ll surely show off to all of his friends, family, and fellow Rhino Racers.

AMP Live Events appreciated all of the competitors who came out to compete in their Rhinos, and we want to thank every competitor for being a part in the new AMP TOUR Racing Series that will run across the United States in our upcoming 2008 racing season.
